Westmont 86, The Master’s 46--The Master’s shot only 27% and was outrebounded, 51-23, in the NAIA District III game at Westmont.
Phil Hahn led The Master’s (0-12, 0-3 in conference) with 14 points. Westmont (7-1, 1-0) was led by Ricky Collier, who scored 17. The Master’s made only 15 of 55 shots, while Westmont made 35 of 67.
Moorpark 84, Valley 60--Joe Pugh scored 15 points and Andy Jercha added 12 to lead Moorpark (10-5) to the nonconference win. David Weiss led Valley with 18 points.
Moorpark outrebounded Valley, 45-22. Valley shot only 47.5% from the free throw line and committed 21 turnovers.
