Stabbing Suspect Arrested in Brea
A 16-year-old boy was arrested Tuesday in connection with the stabbing of a Brea man during a fight in City Hall Park, police said.
James Kesse, 18, was stabbed in the stomach with a buck knife Monday during an argument, Police Lt. Jim Winder said. Kesse was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he was in stable condition, Winder said.
The assailant fled the park after the stabbing, but the suspect was arrested at his home after witnesses gave police his address. The youth was booked into Orange County Juvenile Hall on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
