Pepperdine Will Play at UC Irvine Tonight

Pepperdine will try to end a five-game losing streak tonight when the Waves (2-5) play UC Irvine, another struggling team, at 7:30 in Irvine’s Crawford Hall.

The Anteaters (3-3) are coming off an exhausting two-game trip. After they lost to Boise State, 80-71, Tuesday night, a flight cancellation forced them to take a 10-hour overnight bus trip from Boise, Ida., to Missoula, Mont., where they lost to Montana, 101-80, Thursday night.
