Pasadena : College Board Elects Miele
Susanna Miele has been elected president of the Board of Trustees of the Pasadena Community College District, the first woman to hold the position. Jeanette Mann was chosen vice president in the election held by the board earlier this month.
Miele is a volunteer for several Pasadena agencies and was first elected to the board in 1983. She said her major goals are to work with the college board in finding a replacement for retiring Pasadena City College President John Casey and to encourage creative additions to the curriculum.
