Johnny Carson Engaged for Marry for 4th Time

“Tonight Show” host Johnny Carson has asked Alex Maas to become his fourth wife, his spokesman said.
“All he did is confirm the fact they are engaged,” James Mahoney said. “I asked him because I’d heard rumors. They became engaged quietly late last week. There will be no formal announcement.”
Carson, 61, who has hosted the NBC talk show for 24 years, has been married three times, most recently to Joanna Holland Carson, a former model.
In July, The Times described Maas, who is in her 20s, as Carson’s constant companion, a “beautiful blonde he met by chance on Carbon Beach” in Malibu. The couple has apparently known one another for a couple of years.
Mahoney said he did not know when the pair planned to marry.
