Brave Raj, the only filly in the field of 13, will try to run her victory streak to six today in the $1 million Hollywood Futurity at Hollywood Park, racing’s richest contest for juveniles.

Supplemented for $50,000, Brace Raj will carry Patrick Valenzuela from post position eight in the sixth running of the mile grass race.

Valenzuela, recovering from a wrist injury he suffered in a track spill Wednesday, guided Brave Raj to a 5 1/2-length victory in her last effort, the Nov. 1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies.

A third-place finish or better would make Brave Raj the first 2-year-old ever to top $1 million in career earnings.

All entries except Brave Raj will carry 121 pounds; Brave Raj received a three-pound sex allowance.

Qualify will start from the four-hole with Gary Stevens aboard. The pair ran second to Capote in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile.

Alysheba, who ran third to Qualify in the Breeders’ Cup, will start from the outside carrying Pat Day. The Alydar colt is half a wagering entry with Exclusive Enough, who starts from the two-hole with Larry Snyder aboard.

Exclusive Enough won her last outing, last month’s Hollywood Prevue.

Among the entries in post position from the rail: Masterful Advocate, with Laffit Pincay Jr.; Exclusive Enough; Temperate Sil, Bill Shoemaker; Qualify; Broadway Pointe, Angel Cordero Jr.; and Prince Sasafras, Ray Sibille.

Seventh is Malibu Prince with Gary Baze, followed by Brave Raj; Wilderness Bound, Fernando Toro; Thunder Cat, Eddie Delahoussaye; Nasty Naskra, Rafael Meza; Gold On Green, Cash Asmussen; and Alysheba.

Temperate Sil ran fifth in the Del Mar Futurity in September, while Masterful Advocate finished fourth in the Hollywood Prevue.

Broadway Pointe, also supplemented, comes off a November allowance win at Hollywood Park, while Gold on Green finished third in the Hollywood Prevue. Wilderness Bound ran second last time out, the Hoist the Flag Stakes at Hollywood Park.
