Christian Heritage Falls to Christ College, 71-68
LA MESA — Despite five players scoring in double figures, Christian Heritage College was defeated, 71-68, by Christ College of Irvine at Grossmont College.
Guard Randy Foster scored 14 points and center Sean Smith added 12 to lead Christian Heritage (4-5). Guard Mike Thompson led all scorers with 21 points for Christ College (6-3).
Christ College led at halftime, 33-22. Christian Heritage pulled within five points with nine minutes left and within three late in the game.
