Cantree Project to Provide Food to Needy Families
- Share via
The Montebello Board of Realtors has announced its plans to build a large Christmas tree entirely from canned goods, as part of the “cantree program” officially endorsed by the California Assn. of Realtors, which hopes to collect more than 2 million cans statewide.
Individuals may choose to make donations of canned foods to be distributed to needy families through the Salvation Army’s holiday food basket program, or to make monetary gifts for the purchase of canned items. The Montebello chapter will make its pickup today at 3126 W. Beverly Blvd., Suite 200, Montebello.
