Erburu Named Director of S.F. Federal Reserve Bank
Robert F. Erburu, chairman, president and chief executive of Los Angeles-based Times Mirror Co., has been named to a three-year term as a director of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, effective Jan. 1. He will assume a Class C directorship representing non-banking interests, succeeding Alan C. Furth, president of Southern Pacific Co.
Erburu was also designated deputy chairman of the bank for 1987, succeeding Fred W. Andrew, president of Bakersfield-based Apex Orchards, who has been designated 1987 chairman.
The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, with branches at Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Seattle and Portland, Ore., provides wholesale banking services to financial institutions in the nine Western states plus American Samoa and Guam.
