Seal Beach : Youth Threatens Clerk With Knife, Takes Cash
A clothing store was robbed Thursday night by a teen-ager who threatened the clerk with a hunting knife.
According to police dispatcher Jo Lee, a youth 16 to 18 years old entered the Clothestime store on Seal Beach Boulevard in the Rossmoor Shopping Center about 8:15 p.m., displayed a hunting knife and demanded cash.
After taking an undetermined amount of money, he fled, Lee said. Late Friday, police still were looking for the teen-ager, who was described as about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and about 150 pounds. He was wearing a blue baseball cap, blue jacket and black-framed sunglasses, police said.
