Wynn’s Shot Gives SCC Win, 75-73

Junior forward Randy Wynn scored the final six points for Southern California College, including a 15-foot jumper with 56 seconds left, to lead the Vanguards to a 75-73 victory over Occidental (2-2) in a nonconference game Wednesday night at SCC.
Wynn’s two free throws tied the score at 73-73, with 3:12 left. Occidental turned the ball over on its next possession, setting up Wynnn’s winning shot.
Rob Lucas led all scorers with 22 points for SCC (3-1). Wynn added 19. Jeff Lowe had 21 for Occidental.
