Services Held for Whittier Educator Lorraine Ramsay
Memorial services were Saturday for Lorraine O. Ramsay, a Whittier educator who died Tuesday.
Ramsey, who had lived in Whittier since 1951, was founder and director of Carden Whittier School and the Carden School of La Habra. She was a member of the Whittier Chamber of Commerce, Whittier Republican Women Federated and a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International. She attended Granada Heights Friends Church of La Mirada and Church of the Valley in Apple Valley.
Survivors include her husband, Robert T. Ramsay; son Marc B. Ramsay of Anaheim; daughters Randi J. Seagren of Denver, Colo., Laura L. Ramsay of Brea and Julie A. Zude of Whittier.
