College Basketball Roundup : Cunningham, Foster Lead the Way as Christian Heritage Tops Christ College

William Cunningham scored 33 points, and Rundey Foster added 22 Tuesday night to lead Christian Heritage College to a 105-94 victory over Christ College of Irvine in a nonconference game at Irvine.

Victor Townes led Christ College with 31 points, and Paul Wear added 25 points and 16 rebounds. The Hawks are 2-0, and the Eagles are 4-1.

In other action:

Southern California College 121, Pacific Christian 51--Rob Lucas scored 21 points, and Walter Bakley added 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Vanguards at Southern California College. SCC is 2-0, and Pacific Christian is 3-4.

In women’s basketball:

St. Cloud State 71, Chapman College 64--Julie Eisenshenk scored 20 points to lead St. Cloud State in a nonconference game at Eastern Montana College. Valerie Hartsfield scored 26 points and Karan Polk added 17 for Chapman (1-2). The Panthers shot 37% (28 for 75) from the field.

Southern California College 82, Redlands 65--Lisa Terry had 25 points to lead the Vanguards (2-1) in nonconference game at Redlands. Julie Amon added 14 for the Vanguards. Redlands is 1-3.
