Corona del Mar Seeks Another Water Polo Title
Corona del Mar High School of Newport Beach will try to win its second consecutive California Interscholastic Federation 4-A water polo title tonight at 8:30 at Belmont Plaza in Long Beach.
The Sea Kings (29-0) will play Sunny Hills of Fullerton (23-7) in a rematch of last year’s championship game, won by Corona del Mar, 7-6, in overtime.
Placentia El Dorado (25-4) can repeat as champion with a win over San Clemente (20-8) in the 3-A title game at 5:15 p.m.
