A county judge in Jersey City, N.J., sent a theft charge against world record-holding Kenyan distance runner Henry Rono back to municipal court because it is not big enough to send to a grand jury, assistant prosecutor Frank DeStefano said.

Rono is charged with three counts of theft by deception in Bergen County and one count in Hudson County in a scheme to dupe bank tellers out of cash, authorities say.
