Mayor Tom Bradley left for a five-day tour of West Germany and France, where he will meet with shipping officials to promote Los Angeles International Airport as a major hub for European trade. Bradley was to arrive today in Dusseldorf, West Germany, where he will join airport General Manager Cliff Moore and Los Angeles Airport Commission members Robert Chick and Johnnie Cochran, spokeswoman Ali Webb said. Moore and the commission members, who arrived in Europe last weekend, have already traveled to Scotland, Denmark and England, she said. The purpose of the trip is to encourage cargo and aviation officials in Europe to ship goods into Los Angeles instead of San Francisco or other cities on the Pacific Rim, Webb said.
