Maputo Vote Resumes

MAPUTO, Mozambique — General elections in Mozambique, suspended after President Samora M. Machel died in a plane crash last month, resumed Monday, a government statement said Tuesday. It said the election, which began Aug. 15, will be completed by Dec. 15 instead of Nov. 15, as originally scheduled.
