Three women were kidnaped Sunday outside a Vietnamese restaurant by two armed men, who robbed them of $1,000 in cash and jewelry, then stole their car, police said Monday.
The three women, who were Vietnamese, were leaving the Nui Ngu restaurant in the 10500 block of McFadden Avenue at 5:15 p.m. Sunday when they were accosted in the parking lot by two Vietnamese men, Garden Grove Police Lt. Chuck Gibbs said. The women told police they were forced into the back seat of their car and driven away.
The men, who held the women at bay with a small handgun as they took their money and jewelry, released them unharmed near Santa Ana Heights and drove away.
Police have asked anyone with information about the suspects or the women’s car--a silver 1982 Honda Civic, California license plate 1ESG416--to call the Garden Grove Police Department at (714) 638-6615.
