Kolpacoff’s letter speaks of Reagan prosperity and we can look back on the 1980s as years of unprecedented peace as well.
Has Kolpacoff ever driven down East 4th Street in Skid Row and seen countless people living in cardboard boxes and standing in line for a bowl of soup?
Sure, some of us are doing well, but I would rather have Reagan devote more time to helping our less fortunate ones and spend less money on arming us and the rest of the world who happens to agree with his policies.
