St. Mary’s Meets UCSD in Regional Soccer Final

St. Mary’s College of Minnesota made four penalty kicks to Methodist College’s three to break a 1-1 tie and win a semifinal match of the NCAA Division III women’s soccer western regional championships Saturday at UC San Diego.

Methodist College, of Fayetteville, N.C., ends its season 13-4-1. St. Mary’s, 17-3-1, plays UCSD for the regional championship at 1 today.
