MUSIC CENTER GROUP ELECTS OFFICERS

The Music Center Operating Co. has announced the election of Charles I. Schneider as chairman of its board of directors. A group vice president of the Times Mirror Co. and a former president of the Music Center, Schneider succeeds Eaton W. Ballard, whose term has expired.

The operating company, which manages the Music Center of Los Angeles County on behalf of the county, also announced the election of Robert E. Wycoff, president and chief operating officer of Arco; Claire L. Rothman, vice president, booking and general manager of the Forum, and Bruce C. Corwin, president of Metropolitan Theatres Corp., as directors.

The operating company is responsible for the operation of the Music Center’s three-theater complex and licenses the facilities for use by the resident performing companies and short-term tenants.
