The daughter of movie mogul Darryl Zanuck has filed a $10-million suit against his former lover, claiming the woman falsely accused her of forging her father’s will. Darrylin Zanuck de Pineda of Santa Monica claims she was also accused of exerting undue influence over her father to keep Genevieve Gillaizeau from a share of the 1973 will. The Superior Court suit filed last week in Riverside County seeks $5 million for alleged malicious actions, emotional distress and harm to the daughter’s reputation. Zanuck, 77, a founder of 20th Century Fox, died in 1979. His will, which left the bulk of the estate to his son Richard and to Darrylin, was contested by Gillaizeau and by Zanuck’s two grandsons. Court documents indicate the eight-year romance between Gillaizeau and Zanuck ended in 1973. She seeks $15 million, which she said was 45% of the value of the estate.
