Maxwell Laboratories received a $2.5-million contract to continue theoretical research work for the Defense Nuclear Agency. The agency also selected Maxwell to continue work on an electromagnetic gun that would be integrated into a proposed armored vehicle. The contract is estimated to be worth more than $8 million during 33 months.
