Bell-Jeff Plays Chaminade for 1st Place Today

Bell-Jeff’s first-place battle in the Santa Fe League with Chaminade highlights today’s Valley-area high school football schedule. Bell-Jeff (5-0) and Chaminade (2-2-1) both carry 2-0 league records into today’s 7:30 p.m. game at Burroughs High.
Harvard (4-1) is 1-0 in league and plays at Cathedral at 1:45 p.m. In other Santa Fe League action, Salesian plays St. Genevieve at Birmingham High at 7:30 p.m.
Alpha League match-ups today are Montclair Prep vs. L.A. Baptist at Monroe High at 7:30 p.m., and La Verne Lutheran vs. Village Christian at Kennedy High at 7:30 p.m.
In eight-man football, Templeton plays at Faith Baptist at 1 p.m., and St. Margaret’s is at Buckley at 1 p.m.
