NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — Two Niagara University students, unsuccessful in an attempt Thursday to ride over Niagara Falls in a barrel, were fined $475 each Friday on criminal charges resulting from the stunt.
Judge Anthony Certo of Niagara Falls City Court gave Harry Kallet until Oct. 31 to pay his fine and Michael Viscosi until Nov. 17 to pay his fine, or serve 15 days each in Niagara County Jail.
The two pleaded guilty to charges of disorderly conduct, entering property closed to the public and launching a craft from a prohibited area.
