TUDELA, Spain — A thief who robbed a gasoline station sped off in a getaway car after bundling the attendant into the trunk--then saved his life after skidding into a river, police said Monday. The soft-hearted robber, who had stolen $110, managed to release the attendant before the car sank. He then fled on foot, they said.
