A suspect in a Pennsylvania murder was arrested in San Francisco when he tried to obtain a passport. Police and FBI agents arrested Dorian Suarez, 37, at the Federal Building on a fugitive warrant charging him with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution for the murder of Karlene Muddell, 86, a retired schoolteacher whose body was found buried in Suarez’s backyard. Authorities in Swiftwater, Pa., said Suarez and a girlfriend used forged documents to bilk the woman out of her home near Snydersville and to remove $50,000 from her bank accounts before shooting her in the head. The girlfriend, Amy Bisher, 27, a registered nurse, was arrested Sept. 29 and jailed in Pennsylvania on $175,000 bail, authorities said.
