Eric Long scored five goals to lead Saddleback College to a 17-13 victory over Rancho Santiago Tuesday in Orange Empire Conference water polo action at Santa Ana.
Dennis Bethkey scored four goals, Keith Shore and Matt Petrash three and J.D. Dennis two for Saddleback (5-0, 9-0-1).
In other conference action:
Orange Coast 14, Grossmont 8--Eric Keller and Karl Stewart scored four goals each for the Pirates (5-0, 14-1) at Costa Mesa.
In South Coast Conference women’s soccer action:
Golden West 5, Long Beach City 2--Connie Knapp and Kelli Winkler scored two goals each and Shannon Augustine scored one for the Rustlers (2-0-1, 5-2-1) at Long Beach.
In Orange Empire men’s soccer action:
Orange Coast College 1, Cypress 0--Richard Pilon scored in the first half for the Pirates (2-0, 4-5) at Costa Mesa.
