Westlake (3-1, 1-0) at Thousand Oaks (3-1, 1-0): Westlake is a small and inexperienced team that surprised Simi Valley last week in its Marmonte League opener. Thousand Oaks, which has lost only to Canyon, outscored Royal last week.

Gardena (0-3) at Granada Hills (3-0): Valley 4-A teams have great difficulty defeating Pacific League teams. If Granada Hills cannot beat Gardena, one of the weaker Pacific teams, the Highlanders might as well not show up for the playoffs.

St. Genevieve (3-1, 0-1) at Harvard (2-2, 0-0): St. Genevieve must beat Harvard, a new member of the Santa Fe League, to defend its league title. Upstarts Bell-Jeff, Chaminade and Salesian are 1-0.
