Cable & Computer Wins Contract for $5.3 Million

Cable & Computer Technology Inc. in Anaheim said it has received a $5.3-million contract from the U.S. Air Force for electronics gear used in the maintenance of the Minuteman missile guidance system.
Issued by the Air Force’s Ogden Air Logistics Center at Hill Air Force Base in Utah, the three-year contract covers development, testing and production of a computer system that will replace an IBM product. The contract includes an option for the purchase of 32 additional systems over a one-year period at a cost of approximately $5 million. Cable & Computer Technology designs and manufactures computer products.
