Fausto Ruiz’s first-half goal enabled Fresno Pacific to beat Cal Lutheran, 1-0, in a Golden State Athletic Conference soccer game Wednesday at Cal Lutheran.
Cal Lutheran fell to 6-2-1 overall and 0-1 in conference. Fresno Pacific, ranked seventh in the NAIA poll, improved to 7-2-1 and 1-1.
