As it consolidates its three operating divisions to reduce costs, the company will move its headquarters to Charlotte, N.C. Included in the layoffs are 125 employees at its current Sunnyvale, Calif., headquarters. The floppy disk maker, a subsidiary of Eastman Kodak, has 1,650 employees worldwide. About 225 employees will remain at the Sunnyvale facility, involved in media coating, research and development and marketing activities.
