Fire at Volkswagen Plant

WOLFSBURG, West Germany — A fire on an assembly line at West Germany’s major auto maker Volkswagen AG halted production Monday for several hours and caused several million dollars worth of damage, a company spokeswoman said Tuesday. She said the cause of the blaze has not been established.
