Los Angeles Street Scene

It seems to me that Los Angeles’ Street Scene, which was established to showcase the cultural diversity of a major U.S. metropolis, was a great success. There were music, art, one murder, 40 people injured and 35 arrests for assault with a deadly weapon--in other words, everything happened that is supposed to happen in a culturally diversified major U.S. metropolis. The only untoward action was Mayor Bradley calling for a halt.
