Texas American Bancshares will report a loss.
The firm says it expects to lose $84 million in this year’s third quarter because of provisions to offset bad real estate and energy loans. The bank holding company also confirmed that it will attempt to sell its 37-story downtown Fort Worth office tower and two other office buildings in Dallas and Amarillo, Tex. Company officials said the quarterly loss will bring net losses for the first nine months of this year to $105.3 million.
