French peacekeeping troops, under persistent attack in recent weeks, evacuated six positions in southern Lebanon, U.N. sources said. The French troops, assigned to the U.N. Interim Force in Lebanon, were replaced at two of the positions by Nepalese soldiers of the peacekeeping force.
