Insurance Office Gets Case of Injured Moose
STOCKHOLM — A bull moose crashed through the window of a state health insurance office and chased employees into the archives room before leaving through the hole he made, a newspaper reported Tuesday.
“Suddenly, I heard a crash and saw the moose advancing towards me in a cloud of glass splinters,†office employee Anna-Catrin Eriksson was quoted as telling the Dagens Nyheter daily about the Monday encounter in the central Swedish town of Orebro.
Officials said the moose was badly injured when cars struck him both before and after the office visit. The animal was shot to death by forest rangers after a chase.
