Construction Curbs Extended in Devon
The Los Angeles City Council has unanimously extended the building moratorium in the Devon/Ashton area of Westwood until March 6, 1987. No new building or demolition permits will be granted in the 1200 block of Devon Avenue near Wilshire and Beverly Glen boulevards.
An enclave of three- to four-unit apartments built in the 1930s, the two-block area is under consideration as a historic preservation zone.
