Senate Candidates to Get Reagan Help
SANTA BARBARA — President Reagan will travel to Louisiana and Alabama on Sept. 18 to raise campaign funds for Republican candidates for the Senate, a spokesman said Friday.
Reagan will go to New Orleans for a reception and luncheon for Rep. W. Henson Moore, who is seeking the Senate seat being vacated by Democrat Russell B. Long.
From there, he will travel to Montgomery, Ala., to attend a reception and address a reelection campaign rally for Sen. Jeremiah Denton. After the rally, he will return to Washington.
