CHILDREN’S MUSEUM AWARDED GRANT
The La Habra Children’s Museum has received a $30,856 grant from the national Institute of Museum Services.
The award is the fifth in six years that the city-owned museum has won from the federally backed institute, said museum director Catherine Michaels.
The money will be used for general operating support, including programs, salaries and marketing, said Michaels. The museum is located in a restored train depot at 301 S. Euclid St.
