Compucorp said its merger has been called off.
The Santa Monica maker of office automation systems said it and Troy Corp., an investment company, mutually agreed to terminate negotiations. Compucorp, in need of a capital infusion, is now arranging for private funding, said its new president and chief executive, Phillip Wolfson. Also, attorney Frederick Schumacher has been named chairman--a position once held by Beverly Hills financier Bernard Katz, who is still a major shareholder.
