NORMA ALEANDRO SET FOR ‘GABY’
MEXICO CITY — Norma Aleandro, the Argentine actress whose role in the Oscar-winning “The Official Story†brought her international attention, has arrived here to make a movie with Scandinivian star Liv Ullmann.
Asked what it would be like to work with the Norwegian actress, Aleandro replied: “It is more difficult to work with a bad actor, than with one who knows how to do his work.â€
They will be making “Gaby,†directed by Mexico’s Luis Mandoki. The film will be a co-production between the government’s Mexican Cinematography Institute and a U.S. company.
“The Official Story†won the Academy Award in March as best foreign-language film of the year.
