Ermolenko Seventh in Speedway World Final
Sam Ermolenko of Cypress finished seventh in Saturday in the speedway motorcycle World Final in Chorzow, Poland. Hans Nielsen of Denmark won the world championship.
Ermolenko scored nine points in five heat races. Nielsen scored 14 of a possible 15 points to edge Jan Pedersen of Sweden, who finished with 13. Kelvin Tatum of Britain was third with 12.
