National Lumber Chain Reports $103,000 Net Loss
National Lumber & Supply Inc., a chain of home-improvement centers based in Fountain Valley, reported a net loss of $103,000 for the second quarter of its 1987 fiscal year, compared with net income of $504,000 for the same period a year ago. Revenue for the period ended July 31 was $40.3 million, up 9.8% from $36.7 million.
For the first half of the year, National Lumber reported a net loss of $685,000, compared with net income of $680,000 in the same period last year. Revenue was $72.7 million, up 7.1% from $67.9 million.
