Southern California’s Best Is Witt, Not Valenzuela

When will the Los Angeles press stop trying to ram Fernando Valenzuela down our throats? Over the past three years, he isn’t even the best pitcher in Southern California. Mike Witt is. Witt has won just as many games (44) as Valenzuela while losing nine fewer. All this with a supposedly inferior team.
