Police have arrested a San Jose State University student after finding three cases of anti-tank practice rockets in a bicycle locker. University officials said the student, whose name was not disclosed, will be charged with possession of explosives. The student identified himself as a National Guard member and said he was collecting the 9-inch-long rockets, which are made for use in the portable LAW anti-tank weapon, from other Guard members and planned to return them to the National Guard armory. A National Guard spokesman said the practice rounds contain some explosives, but not as much as fully loaded rockets.
