Cyprus Extends Hold Order on Armed Man

NICOSIA, Cyprus — A Larnaca court ordered a Lebanese passport holder caught last week carrying 18 grenades and an automatic pistol with a silencer be kept in jail for eight more days pending further investigation.
Amin Zarour Sleiman was arrested in Larnaca on Aug. 14, carrying grenades and pistol in a suitcase.
