Two Die in Collision of Bicycle and Motorcycle
A woman bicyclist and a man on a motorcycle were killed Sunday when they collided on a Woodland Hills street, Los Angeles police said.
Both riders were northbound on the 5200 block of Valley Circle Boulevard about 1:45 p.m. when the woman suddenly changed lanes in front of the motorcyclist, Sgt. Joe Cross said. Both victims were thrown to the ground, he said.
The motorcyclist, Howard G. Goodman, 43, of Encino, was pronounced dead at the scene. Los Angeles City Fire Department paramedics transported the woman to Humana Hospital-West Hills in Canoga Park, where she later died, authorities said. The woman’s name was being withheld until relatives could be notified.
