A new look is set for the Orange County Library’s Cypress branch, which will close for renovation beginning Monday to Sept. 21.
“They’ll be getting new carpet, totally repainting and completely giving the library a new interior arrangement,” said Georgia Weddel, northern regional administrator for the county library.
Renovation will make the library more spacious and functional, Weddel said. For example, the children’s books section will be placed much closer to the information desk, she said.
The Cypress branch is at 5331 Orange Ave. Library patrons are invited to use the La Palma branch library, 7842 Walker St.; the Stanton branch, 7850 Katella Ave., or the West Garden Grove branch, 11962 Bailey St.
