Westwood : Court Considers Injunction
The state Court of Appeal has agreed to consider a request by the Friends of Westwood for a temporary injunction that would halt construction of a 26-story office building and shopping complex at 10877 Wilshire Blvd., the site of the old Ship’s restaurant. The hearing is set for 10 a.m. Friday in Division 7, 3580 Wilshire Blvd., according to David Grosz, attorney for the group.
Requests for injunctions against the proposed building on the Ship’s site and a 16-story office building already under construction across the street, at 10866 Wilshire Blvd., were denied last month by judges in Los Angeles Superior Court.
